Fast and Testimony

Yeah...it's already the 2nd day of March and before you know it Christmas will be here once again. Life living seems to gain momentum each day. Nostalgic childhood memories, the days seemed to last forever by comparison.

Yesterday Becca stood up and bore her testimony in Sacrament meeting. She shared a story her father told her the day before about a Pioneer ancestor who had lived a life full of difficult challenges. Becca specifically mentioned how thankful she was for the blessings she enjoys each day--our children, our family. Instead of worrying about the her own challenges in life that may not surmount to those challenges of her ancestor, she's "...counting her blessings..." for things worthwhile.

After Becca returned from the stand, Aysia built up the courage to bare her testimony for the very first time. So danty and nearly all grown up at age seven, Aysia confidently stood at the pulpit and told the crowd she knew the Church was true and that she loved her Mom and Dad. Wow...I'm still smiling. It's occasions like these that reinforces the importance of the gospel in each of our lives--totally priceless!
